Using interactive web-based design, the Alberta Distance Learning Centre has produced e-learning modules for Information Processing that creates “physical, virtual, mobile, interactive, and collaborative learning spaces.” The content can be utilized in 3 or 5 credit blocks. ADLC has provided 2 integrated enrichment options—IC3 and A+ certification.

I taught InfoPro and Computer Science in Saskatchewan for 18 years. I moved to Alberta to work for ADLC in the fall of 2006. I have a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the U. of Sask. And a B.Ed. from the U. of Regina. I led the teams for development of 2 online courses for Sask. Dept of Ed. – Chemistry 30 and Entrepreneurship 30. I was Technology Co-ordinator for the Weyburn Comprehensive School for the last 7 years before coming to Alberta.
