The Director in the Classroom Web Studio: An Example of Online Collaborative Learning
Nikos Theodosakis
This session looks at the environment utilized by students to collaborate in writing a script, creating a storyboard,
planning and scheduling a group film shoot. The challenge to extend classroom time and promote collaborative
learning is achieved by working nonsynchronously using the online checklist to guide self-directed learning, and the embedded glossary to answer questions as they arise.
