Teacher Perceptions of Teaching and Learning with Laptops

This presentation will explore and describe how access to portable computing devices affects teaching and learning in several schools in the Edmonton area. Since the technology can follow the student, it has potential to be more easily integrated into classroom use and across the curriculum. Allowing ICT work to be done in the spaces where the core subjects are taught may also increase the willingness of teachers to build ICTrelated activities into their lesson plans.
