There are many challenges with offering PE online. This session will outline the process of renewing the online PE program at CBe-learn. We will look at the evolving use of fitness assessments, journaling, discussions, activity logs, special projects, and new monitoring tools to fulfill the learning outcomes for Alberta Education.

Tim Kitchen
Tim has been with CBe-learn since its inception 4 years ago and has more recently taken the lead role in renewing the PE program. His interest in technology and teaching healthy lifestyle skills has motivated him to offer new ways for students to become active and healthy in this new, flexible environment.
Marla Mollicone
Marla is a veteran teacher at CBe-learn with a background in environmental engineering and competitive sports. For the last three years she has been teaching phys ed and science online. Marla has been a key player in restructuring the online PE program. When not online, she enjoys being active outside and traveling.
