Imagine a place where students in work experience or practicum settings can report and reflect on their learning and communicate with peers and teachers/ coordinators virtually anytime. CBe-learn has developed an online work experience course to compliment on-site visits and to build student personal management and online life skills critical for the 21st century.
About Pamela Lester
Pamela Lester is a career architect with a passion for building innovations that lead seekers to transformation. With a background in system and policy development, program design, curriculum development and virtual learning, Pamela’s work spans both secondary and post-secondary education with a focus on career development, employment preparation, and work experience/practicum delivery.
Pamela has a Masters degree in Educational Design and Career/Work Development and a Teaching and Learning Online Certificate. Her current work for the Calgary Board of Education focuses on online teaching and course development for both students and teachers. She has produced best practices published by the Conference Board of Canada and the Canadian Standards and Guidelines for Career Development Practitioners.
