The Use of Digital Resources and Podcasting for Online Learning

This session will demonstrate how a “digital library” can be created using podcasting to develop resources for students. These resources can supplement classroom materials for students who cannot attend traditional classroom environments.

Ed Leong is Science Curriculum Leader at James Fowler High School. He is currently working on his Masters of Science in Educational Technology at the University of Calgary. Research interests include online learning and use of collaborative technology tools in the classroom.
 
Shahal Rajan is a master math teacher who has successfully integrated technology into his math courses to engage student learning. Shahal helped fellow teachers integrate technology into their classrooms. Shahal has a keen interest in developing online resources using tools such as podcasting.
