Reflecting, Scaffolding and Showcasing: Implementing an ePortfolio Tool into a Master’s Program

The Centre for Distance Education (CDE) at Athabasca University is piloting an ePortfolio project. The ePortfolio will provide masters students with a repository for completed assignments, personal reflections, peer-feedback, and a showcase of their work. It will used as an assessment tool in place of the culminating comprehensive examination.

About Marguerite Koole

Marguerite Koole from the Centre for Distance Education at Athabasca University completed her Master’s thesis on the theory and technology of mobile learning. As an Instructional Designer and Program Administrator, she is actively involved with the development educational technologies and the marketing and implementation of the Centre’s new doctoral program.
