The recent homelessness crisis in Calgary provided an authentic, timely, and relevant opportunity to actively engage students as citizens. This session will showcase student work, provide planning tools, demonstrate collaborative ways to work with experts, and demonstrate how to recognize and identify opportunities to begin inquiry projects that spark active, engaged learners at all grade levels.
