Find out all the latest about the upcoming Distributed Learning Symposium 2009 on their newly launched website! Be sure to check out the pre-conference events and keynote speakers. This promises to be a very dynamic event with a number of K-12, post-secondary and workplace professionals coming together to be a part of the exciting changes to distributed learning in Alberta.

If you have a great story to tell about your experience with distributed learning, their website has a link to the Call for Proposals. Deadline for submissions is November 10th.

On another note, we at ADETA have recently cleaned up our database to try to capture the most current email address for all of members and past participants from events. If you're not receiving emails about updates for ADETA or the Symposium, email us to add your name: info@adeta.org

One of the notices we'll be emailing out soon is an invite to a networking event for workplace professionals engaged in distributed learning. One mixer is planned in Calgary on Nov. 12th and another in Edmonton on Nov. 20. Watch for more details on this website. This is meant as an opportunity for those within the workplace sector (outside of the K-12 and post-secondary space) to come together, meet and discuss their experiences with distributed learning.
